Back in 2010, as the world outside my college campus seemed to be both daunting and exhilarating, I took the plunge and decided to start my first business during my final semester of my undergraduate program. The excitement of stepping into the world of entrepreneurship was contagious, and I was ready to conquer it all!
With big dreams and a determination that knew no bounds, I took the bold step of hiring my very first Virtual Assistants in India. Little did I know that this decision would not only change the course of my business but also create lifelong friendships across borders. The journey was not without its challenges, though. I stumbled a few times, and let's face it, I got kicked in the teeth a few times too. But each setback only fueled my determination to rise again.
Fast forward to 2015, and my entrepreneurial spirit was still going strong. Having sold my medical billing practice in 2013, I ventured into the world of residential assisted living. Our growth was nothing short of rapid, and success seemed to be knocking on my door.
However, this journey was not without its pitfalls. As we expanded, my ego and insecurities got the better of me. It was a tough period of introspection, but these challenges helped me grow both as a businessperson and as an individual.
In 2016, I decided to take on another challenge to level up my skills and enrolled in an MBA program while continuing to run my thriving assisted living business. This experience not only sharpened my business acumen but also gave birth to a game-changing concept - the 4 C's to Selling Method.
With this newfound strategy, I began to gain confidence, and the results were nothing short of remarkable. The path ahead was looking brighter than ever before.
Finally, in 2018, I stood tall and proud, holding an MBA in Business Intelligence. But here's the catch: I realized I didn't learn a damn thing! Traditional academia might have given me a degree, but it was the school of hard knocks that had truly molded me into the entrepreneur I was becoming.
And then, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, EntrMBA was born! Originally intended as a blog, I soon recognized that there were countless others out there, just like me, who were struggling to transition from the startup phase to the growth phase of their businesses.
And so, EntrMBA took on a new mission - to provide entrepreneurs with a network, strategies, and a growth model that would help them accelerate their businesses without the need for a formal MBA. It was all about focusing on marketing and sales to build a solid cash base, enabling investments in people, products, and services.
So, here we are today, standing together at the precipice of greatness. My journey has been filled with ups and downs, but it has made me who I am - a resilient entrepreneur with a passion for growth, collaboration, and helping others succeed.
